As the Sea Bird wends its way up the Columbia River, we have an opportunity to sample some of the fine local products. We can taste wines from some of the premier vineyards and wineries in the region. Both Oregon and Washington have achieved a reputation for producing excellent wine. In addition we can sample cheese, pickled asparagus, garlic, olives, hazelnuts, and other tempting delicacies produced here.
The comments of the guests as they try this array reflect the pleasures they are sharing. We will all remember this cruise for the friendships made, for the spectacular scenery, for the geology, history, and natural wonders encountered.
